Cordyceps control 2019
In this body of work I explore the concept of parasitic cordyceps control. Cordyceps control is when a spore enters a host and begins controlling the hosts behavior, to the benefit of the reproduction of the cordyceps itself. The phenomenon occurs in insects, but I am entertaining the idea in other species from the animal kingdom. The whimsical images pair animals with other botanical elements that are usually emerging from their mouths or heads, as the cordyceps do in their actual insect hosts.
